People don’t normally associate Iceland with hip-hop, but in downtown Reykjavik a small and bustling bar called Prikið (pronounced ‘Prikid’) has become the beating heart of a flourishing rap scene. This documentary follows the local stars Elvar, Countess Malaise, and Joey Christ, who’ve all risen to fame through hip-hop mecca Prikið. The future of Icelandic music is in safe hands with people like community narrator Geoffrey, who is driving the scene through Sticky Records and Prikið bar.
@NewEraCapEU x Mixmag Present the burgeoning rap scene growing from Prikið, Iceland.
