In celebration of the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture's 100th anniversary, join us for Mic’d at MIRS, an intimate series of live “mini concerts" and DJ sets within the library’s research divisions. For the love of Black culture, continues a special Valentine’s Day edition of Mic’d at MIRS.In partnership with The Lot Radio, Mic'd at MIRS will activate the Center's collections of recorded sound, poetry and music with special guest curators. Performances will take place in the Moving Image and Recorded Sound Division (MIRS, pronounced “meers”), which collects and preserves audio and moving image materials related to the experiences of people of African descent.
