Last summer at EXIT Festival, EMERGENCY EXIT made its world debut through a boundary-pushing collaboration with La Fura dels Baus, merging performance art, music, and visual storytelling into one immersive experience.Driven by Satori’s deep, transporting sound and elevated by Eyesberg’s striking imagery, the show delivered a powerful sensory experience that reimagined the limits of live performance.Together, they sent a strong message in front of tens of thousands of visitors: “Peace on Earth, Peace with Earth.”More than an artistic event, EMERGENCY EXIT is a global movement connecting artists, festivals, communities, and audiences in a shared call for environmental protection and awareness of climate change and biodiversity loss.*EMERGENCY EXIT is supported by the European Union through the Creative Europe programme.EXIT is the two-time winner of the “Best Major European Festival” award and is continuously recognized by global music stars, fans, and the media alike.Held each year at the 18th century colossal Petrovaradin Fortress in Novi Sad in Serbia, EXIT started as a student movement whose massive protests brought down the oppressive regime in Serbia. EXIT became the first mass event to gather people from all over the Balkans after a long decade of divisions.In 2025, EXIT Festival celebrated its monumental 25th anniversary with over 200,000 visitors from around the world, continuing its tradition as one of Europe’s leading and most diverse music festivals. Held from July 10th to 13th at the historic Petrovaradin Fortress in Novi Sad, Serbia, this edition stood out not only for its musical brilliance but also for its cultural and social significance.This year’s EXIT delivered a lineup for the ages. Punk legends Sex Pistols (featuring Frank Carter), electronic pioneers The Prodigy, and global dance icon Tiësto headlined a program that spanned genres and generations. The electronic music scene pulsed with energy thanks to unforgettable sets by Amelie Lens, Eric Prydz, DJ Snake, Nina Kraviz, Solomun, I Hate Models, Hot Since 82, Indira Paganotto, Sara Landry and many others. The DIYNAMIC Take-Over led by Solomun was a standout moment, uniting thousands on the Dance Arena in a euphoric celebration of underground sound. Celebrated as a place where hedonism meets activism, it is the social relevance of EXIT that has made it unique and globally recognized, hosting stars like Pet Shop Boys, Billy Idol, The Cure, The Killers, Guns N’ Roses, Franz Ferdinand, Motörhead, Iggy Pop, David Guetta, Massive Attack, Liam Gallagher, Grace Jones, Fatboy Slim, Cypress Hill, Beastie Boys, Snoop Dogg, Wu-Tang Clan, The Prodigy, Migos, Sex Pistols, Kraftwerk, Korn, Moby, Arctic Monkeys, Chemical Brothers, Faith No More, LCD Soundsystem, Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds, Pulp, Jamiroquai, M.I.A., Slayer, Ellie Goulding, Hardwell, Avicii, and many others.EXIT’s Dance Arena is considered as one of the best and biggest dance floors in the world.
